TRAPAC raises money from the association members and makes political contributions to elected officials and other candidates running for office.

How can I invest in TRAPAC?

Any individual or PAC can make an investment to TRAPAC. You may mail a check to the TRA office or call to use a credit card.

How can I participate in TRAPAC?

TRA members are welcome to serve on the TRAPAC Board as they desire. TRAPAC meets regularly throughout the year and elects officers to govern the committee. Currently, TRAPAC has a chairman that oversees all activities and a vice-chairman that oversees the fundraising efforts.

Who is involved in TRAPAC?

The committee is made up of Association members representing small, medium, and large retailers. The more TRA members that get involved in the political process results in a larger positive impact in the Texas Legislature.

Why is TRAPAC necessary?

The legislative success of TRA is supported by the political efforts made by its members. Every election year provides an opportunity for retailers to educate and financially support candidates running for political office.

How does TRAPAC support candidates?

TRAPAC members can decide to support candidates by endorsing their campaigns. In addition, TRAPAC may choose to financially support a candidate by making a contribution to his/her campaign.

When is the next TRAPAC fundraiser?
