TRAPAC stands for the Texas Retailers Association Political Action Committee. TRAPAC is organized to take a bipartisan, non-ideological approach to contributing to candidates for political office whose voting records or stated positions on key issues of importance to the general membership of the Texas Retailers Association meet with the approval of a majority of the TRAPAC Steering Committee.

Investments to TRAPAC, the Texas Retailers Association Political Action Committee, are voluntary and are used for political purposes. The Association will not favor or disadvantage anyone by reason of the amount of their contributions, and you may refuse to contribute without reprisal by the Association. If your company would like to make a corporate contribution, this type of investment would be made tothe Texas Retailers Association Government Affairs Committee. These funds go towards legislative and regulatory initiatives such as educating legislators and their staff.
